Pain Relief
Rapid pain relief, reduction of swelling and inflammation, increased mobility or range of motion, improved sleep quality are all results of laser therapy. Besides relieving pain, the laser can help rebalance the body by dissolving tensions and stress that keep it from functioning smoothly. The laser mimics solar radiation, producing collagen and vitamin D, and increasing the epithelial cell activity and capillary blood vessel formation at the treatment site. The lasers frequency matches the pulse at which the body perceives pain, thus increasing serotonin and endorphin levels. The body is guided into healing itself, therefore the results of the therapy continue even after the therapy itself has been completed. Laser therapy can offer pain relief from arthritic, bursitis, gout, migrane headaches, sinus congestion, carpal tunnel syndrome among other sources of pain and aches.
Radial Shockwave Therapy This new method with the Swiss DolorClast®, has changed orthopedic pain therapy. The device is small, handy and mobile. It ensures a gentle and efficient treatment with pneumatically generated shockwaves, which are transmitted into the area of pain. Impulse frequencies ranging from one to fifteen Hertz can be freely selected, allowing the duration of treatment to be kept as short as possible.
